"We have secured orders for construction of an Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital and Medical College at Alwar. The 500-bed hospital and medical college project will be a Rs 700-crore project and the work will start soon," J Kumar Infraprojects MD Kamal Gupta told PTI here.
The company, which has executed a number of building and flyover works and other infrastructure projects, said it has Rs 4,000 crore worth projects in its kitty.
"We have projects worth Rs 4,000 crore in-hand and are looking at various fund raising options for our expansion plans," Gupta said.
"Recently, we have secured orders for one metro project for CIDCO (City and Industrial Development Corporation) at Navi Mumbai. Among the other major projects in-hand, we are constructing elevated bridge for Delhi Metro, which is expected to cost Rs 1,700 crore," he said.
The company has also secured Rs 600 crore project for water transport in Mumbai, Gupta said, adding they have no plans to enter into real estate construction space and are concentrating on mega infrastructure projects only.
On future prospects, Gupta said, "The government has given priority to infrastructural growth, which has helped infrastructure projects sector grow phenomenally over the past five years.
