The 56-year-old star is known for playing Noah Bennett, the man in horn-rimmed glasses (HRG) in the show, was the first actor from the original to return for the 13-episode miniseries, reported E! Online.
"He's back," Heroes Reborn's official Twitter account posted, along with a picture of Coleman that reads, "HRG Returns."
'Heroes' creator Tim Kring promises that it will be similar to the first season of the original show with ordinary people discovering their extraordinary abilities.
'Heroes' premiered in 2006, and appeared for four seasons till 2010. 'Heroes Reborn' is set to air in 2015.
