The 66-year-old "Silver Linings Playbook" star will pick up the Film Breakthrough Award, which recognises Aussies making it big in Hollywood, reported E! online.
Sullivan Stapleton, who will take the lead in next year's "300: Rise of an Empire", will also be feted.
"Being recognised by this organisation of LA-based Australian peers is a humbling and memorable career moment," Stapleton said.
The reception will take place on October 24.
