"He will appeal to build a better Andhra Pradesh where development has now been pushed to back seat due to the misplaced priorities of Chandrababu Naidu government," YSRC senior leaders Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and Ummareddy Venkateswarlu announced today.
The foot march would be held in 125 assembly segments highlighting the "failures" of the Chandrababu Naidu government and stressing the need for Special Category Status (SCS) to the state, they told reporters after the extended executive meeting of the party, chaired by Jagan.
While the foot march would be held for 180 days covering 3000 km, the remaining 50 Assembly segments would be covered subsequently through a bus yatra, the senior leaders said.
"The main aim is to visit every household in each constituency, listen to their needs, tell them about the failure of Chandrababu Naidu government and highlight policies and promises of our party that would benefit all sections of people bereft of any affiliations," they added.
These inputs would be incorporated in the final manifesto of the Party, they said.
