Jaipur ADM's Reader arrested on bribe charges

ACB sleuths today arrested a Reader working under Jaipur ADM (city) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a person to give an early date in a case, its spokesperson said.
The accused has been identified as Prem Chand Jain, the spokesperson said.
One Ramchandra had filed a complaint with the Anti- Corruption Bureau that the Reader had demanded a bribe of Rs 50,000 from him for fixing an early date in a case, the spokesperson said.
ACB sleuths caught Jain red-handed in the court while accepting the first installment of the demanded amount, she said.
A case under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act was lodged against the accused.
