The Only The Brave star joins Patrick Fischler, Chris Mulkey, Robert Aramayo, Happy Anderson and Gene Jones in the project, reported Variety.
Alienist star Brian Geraghty is also aboard the project, which will be helmed by Henry Dunham.
The film is an ex-cop drama and follows the story of a former police officer who is forced out of retirement after he realises a mass shooting at a police funeral was committed by a member of the same militia he joined after quitting the force.
