Actor James Caan is all set to star opposite Kevin Connolly and Vanessa Williams in Fox's comedy pilot "Fantasy Life".
The fantasy football league show is written by Tim McAuliffe and based on the memoir by one of US' top fantasy experts, ESPN's Matthew Berry.
Caan plays the tough and humourless Chuck, an ex-legendary football player-coach, who's on Mitch's (Connolly ) new team working on the show, reported Deadline.
Chuck does not get fantasy football since he played real football and suffered real pain, however, Mitch eventually impresses him, and the former football star is willing to work with him.
Williams plays Mitch's new boss.
The pilot reunites Caan with 20th TV after starring in the studio's ABC comedy series "Back In the Game".
