The 36-year-old actor will reveal intimate details about himself in the upcoming doc, helmed by first-time director Lisa Vangellow, reported The Wrap.
The project has been titled 'Franco: A Documentary', and will chronicle a year in the actor's life.
Vangellow is reportedly in the early stages of editing the documentary, which began filming in June 2013.
Several of Franco's famous friends, including Seth Rogen, will appear in the documentary.
Among the moments to be featured in the movie are Franco's time at several institutions including NYU, his introduction to the art world, and his debut on Broadway in 'Of Mice and Men'.
