Jammu-Pathankot rail electrification to be over by 2012-end

"The electrification work on Jammu-Pathankot railway line is in full swing and it would be completed by end of this year," Core Central Organisation for Railway Electrification General Manager Jagdev Kalia told reporters here.

Kalia said Katra-Udhampur railway electrification project would be completed in the next two years and it would benefit Vaishno Devi pilgrims.
