Verma, who has worked in films like 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', is seen playing an IAS officer in the family-drama, which went on air on November 21.
"My character is of an honest IAS officer who never compromises when it comes to his principles and tries to bring change in the society, which lies in hands of corrupt officials," Verma told PTI.
The show is directed by Kewal Sethi, who said, the serial focuses on family values and human emotions and will motivate the audience.
The show is produced by Prem Chopra and Ujjval Jain. They plan to make a total of 78 episodes, out of which nine episodes have already been aired.
"We have got approval for 78 episodes and if there are any changes to be made then we might add few more episodes based on the response of the show," Chopra said.
