Jaya made the trip here alone at around 6 in the evening and tied the sacred read thread for a wish at the dargah.
It was Jaya's fourth trip to the dargah, Arshad Faridi, son of peerzada Rais Mian Chishti, the sajjadanashin (religious head) of the Sheikh Salim Chishti dargah, told PTI.
Faridi said Bachchan family is devoted to Sheikh Salim Chisti. Aishwarya too had made a trip to the dargah some years ago.
Jaya, 65, is planning to bring the entire Bachchan family next time, Faridi added.
