Jaya expels former MP for bringing 'disrepute' to party

AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today expelled former MP C Sivasamy for "bringing disrepute" to the party.
In a statement, she announced that Sivasamy, who had represented Tirupur in the 15th Lok Sabha, was being removed from all posts of the party besides its primary membership for "going against party principles and bringing disrepute to it".
She said party workers should have no truck with him.
