In September last year, the Kolkata-based chemical firm's Board had approved the sale of its Chlor Alkali business, comprising of manufacturing facilities at Ganjam in Odisha and Salt Works in Andhra Pradesh to Aditya Birla group firm for a cash consideration of Rs 212 crore.
"...Government of Odisha has vide its letter dated June 12, 2015 approved the transfer of leasehold rights of Ac 107.41 of government land held by the Company in favour of Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Ltd on the terms and conditions mentioned therein," Jayshree Chemicals today said in a BSE filing.
