JD(U) hits out at BJP over blackmoney

Attacking the BJP over blackmoney issue, JD(U) president Sharad Yadav today said the Narendra Modi government has failed to bring back any blackmoney stashed in foreign banks despite their tall promises to do so.
"The government has failed to bring back any blackmoney despite their tall promises to do so. People have opened their bank accounts under PM's Jan Dhan Yojana but the government failed to provide them the promised Rs 15 lakh of blackmoney in their accounts," Yadav told reporters while his brief stay here on his way to Uri.
When asked about Bihar's Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, he praised the party's decision to elevate him to the post as he belongs to a mahadalit cast.

"Our party chose Manjhi for such a post as he belongs to a mahadalit cast, Bihar's one of the most backward castes. People of this cast do not have proper study and living facility," Yadav said.
He also claimed that the party is trying to form an alliance by merging the other secular political parties.
"Earlier, our alliance was against the Congress and today it is against the present government. We hope that this alliance will fight the upcoming elections with a certain unity," Yadav said.
