Judicial Magistrate Santosh Kumar granted bail to Singh after he appeared before the court in compliance with a summon issued to the latter by a court earlier in connection with the trial of the case.
Singh was charged under sections 302 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act in a case lodged on the order of the court in connection with the murder of Raju Sahni, an employee of a businessman Vinod Chaudhary, near the airport on December 4, 2001.
Sahni was shot dead and Chaudhary's another employee Harishankar Chaudhary injured after unknown gunmen fired on them.
The police had investigated the case and gave a clean chit to Singh.
The victim's kin later filed a case in the court which directed to register a murder case against Singh, among other charges.
