JDS corporator among 7 held with fake currency

A JDS corporator was among seven persons arrested today at Harihar, 20 km from here, for allegedly possessing fake currency. Fake currency notes with a face value of Rs 4.50 lakh were seized from them, police said adding, they were now ascertaining how it made its way to the city.
