Actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan and David Strathairn have been roped in to star in the family drama "Walkaway Joe".
The film, which has begun shooting in St John's Parish, Los Angeles, also features Julian Feder and Julie Ann Emery, reported Variety.
Tom Wright is making his directorial debut with the film. Michael Milillo has penned the script.
"Walkaway Joe" is about an unlikely friendship between a teenage boy searching for his father, who has abandoned his family. The boy takes to his bicycle to find his father and a wandering loner hiding from his past reluctantly takes in the boy.
The film is being produced by Rachel McHale, Minor Childers and Michael Milillo. SwingLake Entertainment is the production company.
