Jennifer Lopez returning on American Idol?

Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend Casper Smart has accidently revealed that the singer is heading back to the judging panel of 'American Idol'.
There have been speculations about her return on the Fox reality show's 13th season but a formal announcement is awaited, reported E! News.
When asked whether she is returning on the show, Smart said, "Yes". Apparently Smart thought that Fox had already made the announcement.
"Returning to American Idol makes sense for Jennifer this season as the show's schedule will allow her to focus on new film and TV projects at the same time. And, of course, her twins are starting school this year and she will have time for her family," a source told the website.

The deal is yet to be finalised and if Lopez returns on the show, she will join returning judge Keith Urban.
Fox Network President Kevin Reilly had confirmed that they had approached Lopez.
Names like Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Adam Lambert and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.I.Am. Are doing the rounds as possible replacements for Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Nicki Minaj.
American Idol returns on January 2014.
