Jessie J drinks chickpea, garlic juice to protect voice

Pop star Jessie J drinks boiled chickpeas to maintain her singing voice.
The 'It's My Party' hitmaker said she regularly guzzles down a concoction of liquid vegetables, reported Examiner online.
"I boil down chickpeas and garlic and drink that straight -- the house smells lovely. The way I look at it, a footballer wouldn't play in flip-flops or dip their feet in acid and then expect to get to David Beckham's level. My voice is my living, so I'll be looking after it," she said.
The 25-year-old singer said stardom has not changed her since shooting to fame with her debut single 'Do It Like a Dude' in 2010.

"I'm the most un-divaish person you'll meet. I'm never rude to people and I am always on time. I have always been the first on the dance floor.
"Before fame people thought it made me a good laugh, now people point and call me an attention seeker! I'm very aware of the way people can view me but I'm very aware that I have to just enjoy my life," she added.
