The 28-year-old "Domino" hitmaker has been listening to classic artists including Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston to get her in the mood to pen songs for her eagerly-anticipated fourth studio album.
Posting on her Twitter page, she wrote: "Been listening to Aretha, Whitney, Earth Wind and Fire, D Train... Feeling oh so inspired (sic)."
The 28-year-old singer recently revealed she has no plans to return to her job as a coach on "The Voice Australia" and the UK version and that being on the talent show had whetted her appetite to get in the studio again.
