Jet Airways to launch 3rd daily flight on Mumbai-London route

Private carrier Jet Airways today said it will launch a third daily service to London Heathrow from here, starting Sunday.
The addition of the third flight from Mumbai to London Heathrow complements the airline's existing operations to the British capital from its hubs in Mumbai and Delhi, Jet Airways said in a release today.
With the launch of the latest flight, Jet Airways will become the only Indian carrier to operate thrice daily services between India's financial capital, and London Heathrow - one of the world's busiest and best airports, the airline said.
The third frequency enhances onward connectivity over London Heathrow to North America, the release said adding with partners Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic it will allow Jet Airways to offer passengers improved connection times to 14 destinations over London Heathrow to North America including Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Newark, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Washington.
******************************* Paranjape Group gets sanction to build SEZ in Pune
Mumbai: Paranjape Group today said it has received sanction to build one more SEZ near Blue Ridge Township at Hinjewadi in Pune.
"The upcoming SEZ has a potential of more than 1.5 million square feet of leasable area and is being valued at about Rs 800 crore. It is expected to get completed in next two years' time just before the sunset for SEZ concessions in March 2020. The construction of the earlier phase with leasable area of more than 1.5 million sq. ft. was also completed in two years, Paranjape Group of Companies Chairman Shrikant Paranjape said.
The township already has an operational SEZ with about 3 million square feet of leasable area. This was built in 2 phases and is being used by some of the best names from the field of information technology. The first phase is now held by Black stone and recently Ascendas Singbridge, a Singapore Government undertaking has invested Rs 600 crore in Blue Ridge IT SEZ phase II.
