The daily flight from Kozhikode, Kerala, to Sharjah would commence from October 30.
In a release today, the airline said the direct service would further expand its already-extensive network connecting Southern India to the Gulf.
"The Indo-Gulf route is among Jet Airways' busiest and the airline has ramped up the number of flights on the sector to meet this growing demand," it added.
Kozhikode would become the third Indian city to be connected by Jet Airways to Sharjah through a direct flight. Already, the carrier has services from Kochi and Mangaluru.
"To cater to this growing demand, Jet Airways has progressively taken steps to enhance capacity on the route either by deploying more aircraft or introducing wide-body options on the sector," he noted.
The airline operates flights to 67 destinations, including domestic and international places. It has a fleet of 117 aircraft.
