The four-member gang, which includes a native of Tamil Nadu, was wanted in around 200 burglary cases in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Goa besides Kerala, police said.
A large number of flight tickets were also seized from them, a top police official said.
"With their arrest, we hope to obtain lead on many big and small burglary cases reported from various states. As per our initial estimation, the gang had so far stolen more than Rs 30 lakh and several kg of gold from various places," DYSP of Attingal R Prathapan Nair told PTI.
On the modus operandi of the gang, Nair said they first identify the spots for burglary, then go by flight to the place and come back in another flight after committing the theft.
Police got information about the gang from a burglar from north Kerala, who was arrested in a case recently.
Police laid a trap and arrested Naushad and Anilkumar when they landed here yesterday after a burglary at Mangalore in Karnataka.
Based on the information provided by them during interrogation, others were also tracked down and arrested, Nair said.
All of them were remanded to judicial custody yesterday and information about their arrest passed on to police in other states, sources said.
