Jewellery worth Rs 6 lakh stolen on Sampark Kranti Express

Gold jewellery worth around Rs 6 lakh was stolen on the Sampark Kranti Express near Kadapa railway station in Andhra Pradesh yesterday evening, Raiway Police said.
A passenger called Shabbir filed a complaint last night, said Railway circle inspector Mohan Krishna.
Shabbir, his wife and his mother were returning to Tirupati from Hyderabad by the train. After getting down they realised that ornaments in their luggage were missing.
