Small flights would be started in Dumka, Deoghar, Bokaro and Jamshedpur at the earliest and the state government would lend all help in this regard, an official release said quoting the chief minister.
If necessary, the government would take undertaking for seats, Das said, adding assistance would also be taken from traders.
Das said the people of the state would benefit from flight services as it would save time for traders and generate employment. It would also benefit the economy.
It was discussed in the meeting that flight services in Bokaro and Jamshedpur would begin at the earliest, and the process is in the final stage, the release said.
Work on small flights to Dumka is also on. Foundation stone would be laid at Deoghar in November which would cost an estimated Rs 500 crore, the release said.
Similarly, work has begun in Dhalbhumgadh near Jamshedpur and Chianki in Palamau district, the release said.
Helicopter service could also be started from Ranchi to Parsanath where Jain devotees go in large numbers.
