Jharkhand continue to reel under heatwave conditions

Jharkhand continued to reel under intense heatwave conditions today with the maximum temperature in Ranchi climbing to 41.5 degrees Celsius, compared to yesterday's 41.2 deg C, the MeT office said here.
Jamshedpur, however, recorded 44.7 deg C, slightly lower than yesterday's 45.6 degree C.
Palamau recorded a high of 43.8 deg C as against yesterday's 43 deg C, the MeT office said.
Several other districts of the state also sizzled in the heatwave conditions.
