Jharkhand voter list revision to delete fake voters

Revision of voter list has begun to remove about 7.5 lakh fake names from the roll, Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer P K Jajoria said today.
Jajoria told reporters that revision of electorate has already begun and fake names would be deleted in a time-bound manner.
He chaired a review meeting with all district electoral officers here.
The state had five-phase assembly elections between November 25 and December 20 with the results declared on December 23.
