Jilted man murders lover in Hyderabad

: A 23-year-old man allegedly killed his girlfriend by slitting her throat as she refused to marry him, police said.

The man, who allegedly murdered the 21-year-old woman at a resort here, was arrested today, they said.

The two had come to the resort yesterday after booking a room online, the police said.

There were multiple injuries on the girl's body and her throat, they said, adding that a knife was recovered from the accused.

The man, a diploma-holder, was searching for a job, while the woman was preparing for a bank examination, the police said.
