JK Cabinet orders promotion of 28 officers, including IAS, IPS

The Jammu and Kashmir government today issued promotion orders for 28 officers, including those from IAS, IPS and IFS categories, in the state.
The Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti accorded sanction to promotion of IAS officers of 2005 batch, viz. M Raju, Manzoor Ahmad Lone and Bashir Ahmad Bhat to the Selection Grade of IAS with effect from January 1, 2018.
IAS officers of the 2014 batch including Doifode Sagar Dattatray, Rahul Yadav and Owais Ahmad were also promoted to the Senior Time Scale of IAS with effect from the same date, an official spokesman said.
The Cabinet also approved the promotion of IPS officers of the 2000 batch of J&K Cadre -- S P Pani, Basant Kumar Rath and Gulam Hassan Bhat (DIGs) -- to Super Time Scale in the rank of IGP-Level 14 in the pay matrix, with effect from January 1, 2018, he said.
Deepak Kumar Salathia (IPS: 2004) was promoted to the Super Time Scale (i) DIG, the spokesman said.
The spokesman said the Cabinet accorded sanction to the placement of officers of the 2005 batch of J&K Cadre, viz. Rafeequl Hassan and Vijay Kumar in the Selection Grade of IPS.
The promotion of IPS officers of the 2014 batch of J&K Cadre, viz. Amritpal Singh and Dr G V Sundeep Chakravarthy to the Senior Time Scale of IPS was approved, he said.
The Cabinet accorded sanction to the promotion of Ravi Kumar Kesar to the post of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) (Head of Forest Force) in the Apex Scale of Rs 80,000 (fixed) with effect from July 1, 2017, the spokesman added.
The Cabinet okayed the promotion of Manoj Pant, P K Singh and B Sidhartha Kumar to the post of PCCF in the pay scale of Rs 75,500-80,000 with effect from July 01, 2017, he said.
The Cabinet issued promotion orders of B K Singh, Jigmet Takpa, S K Gupta, Sarvesh Rai, N P Singh, Asaf Mehmood, Nissar Ahmad Darzi and A K Gupta to the post of Additional PCCP in the pay scale of Rs 67,000-79,000 with immediate effect and S Senthil and Sameer Bharti to the post of Chief Conservator of Forests.
