As per an official order issued by Divisional Commissioner Jammu, the working hours in the government offices and educational institutions have been changed wef May 1, 2014.
In districts Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Samba, Reasi and Kathua the timing to be observed in Government offices shall be from 8 AM to 2 PM except for the government offices located in district Poonch, Tehsil Bani, Ramban, Tehsil Ramban, Niabat Batote, Doda, Kishtwar and Tehsil Doda, shall observe timing from 10 AM to 4 PM.
The timing would remain in force till September 30, it said.
