JK govt plans to introduce courses on consumer protection laws

Jammu and Kashmir government is planning to introduce courses on Consumer Protection Laws in higher education to make people aware about consumer rights.
Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali said this at an event here today.
To protect the rights of consumers, the minister said the government has already established a State Consumer Protection Council with its subordinate offices at district levels.
The minister asked his department to contain adulteration and over-charging in the state.
