Chairing a meeting, Minister for Law and Justice Abdul Haq today asked his department officials to find alternatives so that work on the project could be started soon.
He also asked the Advocate General to use all legal options to remove the bottlenecks in the project.
The meeting discussed the legal course of action with regard to construction of 850 MW Rattle Hydroelectric Power Project on the river Chenab in Drabshala area of Kishtwar district, an official spokesman said.
The meeting was informed that after the developer expressed inability to resume work, the matter is being examined by a committee headed by the Financial Commissioner, Planning Development & Monitoring Department and the case is also pending in court.
