"There is a need for synergy of efforts between different universities and research institutions of the state, particularly in regard to conduct of research in the areas which are relevant for the sustainable development of JK," Vohra said in his concluding remarks at Indian Science Congress here today.
He was chairing Prof Ram Nath Chopra Symposium.
Vohra suggested that a document based on the presentations made by the panelists should be prepared and submitted to the state government for appropriate action.
