Speaking on the occasion, JKNPP chairman Hrash Dev Singh said, "The socio-political bias perpetuated against the Jammu region is a synonym of human rights violation of the Dogra- Pahari people. The people must get united to raise their voice so as to end this discrimination and hoodwinking by the BJP- PDP coalition in the state."
He said the people of Jammu, who had pinned high hopes on BJP, were feeling extremely disappointed over the "highly timid" approach of the saffron party.
He accused the BJP of shelving all its ideological issues for which it had sought votes from the people of Jammu.
"The party has hoodwinked the people of Jammu and in order to be in power has joined hands with the PDP and have totally left the people of Jammu at the mercy of almighty," he said.
