Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party announced on Wednesday it will contest all 75 wards of Jammu Municipal Corporation in civic body polls scheduled from October 1.
"We will contests all wards of JMC," party chairman Harsh Dev Singh told reporters.
The former minister urged people, particularly the youth, to support JKNPP in the election.
Jammu and Kashmir State Administrative Council, headed by Governor Satya Pal Malik, Friday announced that elections to municipal bodies in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in October this year, followed by panchayat polls in the state.
Municipal polls will be conducted in four phases and polling will be held between October 1 and 5. Panchayat elections will be conducted in eight phases between November 8 and December 4.
