Minister for Law and Justice Abdul Haq Khan today ordered an inquiry into the alleged negligence by legal officers in the case of arbitration between Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation (JKPDC) and a private company.

The minister asked the Secretary Law to conduct an inquiry into the matter and fix responsibility with respect to the negligence and mishandling of case so that action can be taken against the officers involved.
Khan said such careless and casual approach of the officials and law officers shall not be tolerated and stressed that due diligence should be exercised while handling cases of public importance.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Law Abdul Majeed Bhat, Managing Director JKPDC Shah Faesal, besides other senior officials of the department.
