The enforcement staff of JMC under instructions from Mandeep Kaur, Municipal Commissioner sealed the commercial premises on the ground floor where the branch of J&K Bank Rehari colony was functioning, a JMC officer said.
"In the building there was no provision for parking vehicles and the vehicles were illegally parked outside the Branch by the customers and the staff.
"This created bottleneck and caused inconvenience to the general public in an already very busy area and also created hindrance in the free flow of vehicular traffic leading to traffic jams," he said.
JMC once again appeals to the general public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized and constructions in violation of land use otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition and sealing will be taken, he said.
