"It is an opportunistic and unethical alliance. Reflects no stability. Jharkhand has seen nine governments in the last 12 years. The proposed alliance is outright transactional, lacks credibility and will not last," BJP General Secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy told PTI.
JMM had earlier formed a government with BJP and AJSU in this Assembly. However, this government fell when Chief Minister Shibu Soren, who was still a member of the Lok Sabha, voted with the UPA government on a cut motion in 2010.
Rudy demanded that the Jharkhand Assembly should be dissolved and fresh elections should be held to pave the way for forming a stable government in the mine-rich state.
