Johan van Zyl inducted in the Board of Shriram Capital

The Board of Shriram Capital Ltd has inducted Johan van Zyl as its Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
"Dr Johan van Zyl, Sanlam Group Chief Executive is appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Shriram Capital Ltd," the city-based company said in a statement.
"Dr Johan van Zyl's appointment is an extension of the strategic long term partnership between Sanlam Group and the Shriram Group. He will act as a trusted advisor to the evolution of our business and brand, our commitment to socio-economic empowerment and much more...," Shriram Capital Chairman Arun Duggal said.
Sanlam has been in partnership with Shriram Group for both Life and non-life Insurance businesses. Sanlam has picked up a 26 per cent stake in Shriram Capital, the statement added.
