Hollywood star John Travolta has revealed that he will look after the family of tragic 'Sopranos' actor James Gandolfini, who died following a heart attack.
Travolta, 59, said his friend Gandolfini had supported him when his autistic son Jett suffered a fatal seizure aged 16 in 2009, reported Sun online.
Gandolfini, who is survived by wife Deborah Lin and their daughter Liliana, eight months - died aged 51 in Rome. He was teaching his son from his first marriage - Michael, 13 - about his Italian roots.
"My goal is to make sure his family is OK. His little boy, I watched him grow up, and his brand new little girl. We will just make sure they are taken care of," Travolta said.
Travolta starred with Gandolfini in "Lonely Hearts", "Get Shorty" and "The Taking of Pelham 123".
"My father sold tyres to his father. I was his inspiration to get into the business," he added.
The family of Gandolfini said a post-mortem confirmed that a heart attack killed him.
