Replying to a starred question by Congress MLA Shakeel Ahmed Khan, representing Kadwa assembly seat in Katihar district, Home Minister in-charge of Bihar Bijendra Prasad Yadav told the state assembly that the judicial panel report has been received and it will be tabled in the Assembly after completion of due process.
Yadav, however, kept mum when asked by the member about time-frame for tabling the Forbesganj police firing incident's judicial report.
Observing that the issue was sensitive, Khan implored the Home Minister in-charge to submit the judicial panel report with the Action Taken Report (ATR) in the matter.
The state government had suspended a homeguard jawan for jumping on a body and set up an one-man judicial inquiry commission headed by a retired Patna High Court judge Madhvendra Sharan to probe the police firing incident.
