Jumbo tramples woman, daughter to death
A woman and her daughter were killed when a wild elephant trampled them in Karbi Anglong district of Assam today, police sources said.
The pachyderm attacked the two when they were asleep in their thatched house in the village under Khatkhati police station, the sources said.
The deceased have been identified as Muni Devi (35) and Puja Kumari (3), they added.
