"Taking a serious notice of negligence in restoring supply of safe drinking water in Ramban town, District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today placed Junior Engineer, PHE Ramban, Jagjeet Singh under suspension with immediate effect", an official spokesman said.
He said salaries of Executive Engineer PHE (Hydraulic) Ramban and Assistant Executive Engineer, Sub Division, Ramban, have been withheld till further order.
