Junior women hockey probables pruned to 33

Hockey India Selectors B.P Govinda, Savitry Purty and Surender Kaur, alongwith government observer Harbinder Singh, chief coach Neil Hawgood and coach Narinder Saini tested the fitness and performance of all players during the trials which concluded on November 10 at Aish Bagh Hockey Stadium and Mayur Park Stadium in Bhopal.

India has already qualified for FIH Junior Women World Cup 2013 to be held in Germany by winning a silver medal at the recent Junior Women Asia Cup. The FIH Junior Women World Cup will be held in Germany during July 2013.

The coaching camp as part of the preparations for the World Cup had begun on October 27 at SAI Centre, Bhopal.
