Justice Karnan offers lawyer fees to Registrar General

Controversial Madras High Court judge Justice C S Karnan has offered Rs 5,00,000 as counsel fees to the court's Registrar General, who has filed a case in the Supreme Court against an order of his.
In a letter sent to the Registrar General, Justice Karnan referred to the orders passed by him, which are under challenge before the Supreme Court, and offered him the money towards the legal expenses to be incurred by him for engaging a senior advocate appearing in the case.
He has sent a copy of his letter to Chief Justice of Madras High Court, which was addressed to the Registrar General.
