Kalpataru Power Sept qtr profit drops 4% to Rs 41.02 crore

Engineering firm Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) today reported 3.9 per cent drop in standalone net profit at Rs 41.02 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
The company's net profit in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal was Rs 42.70 crore, KPTL said in a BSE filing.
The company's total income from operations (net) declined to Rs 946.41 crore, over Rs 1,140.77 crore in the year-ago period.
The shares of the company closed 1.67 per cent down at Rs 265.25 apiece on BSE today.
