Kalyan MP Srikant Shinde was on Monday arrested along with scores of Shiv Sena activists for allegedly throwing black ink on chief conservator of forests in his office here, the police said.
Police said Sena activists had taken out a morcha on the office of the CCF over burning of trees planted by the MP in Mangrul village by unidentified miscreants, a police official said.
He said the Sainiks entered the office of CCF Rajendra Kadam andthrew ink, ashes and other dirt in his office and vandalised it.
A case was registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
