He was awarded at a function in Mumbai for his Outstanding Contribution to Education and being the Best Vice Chancellor of the country, a statement by the University said.
Hangloo bagged the the Dewang Mehta Awards, instituted by the the Dewang Mehta Foundation, in recognition of his leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of the University of Kalyani.
Hangloo has recently been selected by the Harvard University as its Member of Election Analysis Team.
