Superstar Rajinikanth has said that Kamal Haasan is the angriest person he knows but his brother Chandra, who passed away recently, could keep his temper in check.

Rajinikanth attended the memorial meet of the producer, who died after suffering a cardiac arrest in London last month at the age of 82. He was instrumental in running Haasan's production house 'Raaj Kamal Films International'.

"I have never seen a hot-tempered person like Kamal Haasan. You all have seen only ten per cent of his anger. I have witnessed it 100 per cent. That's why I used to be careful with him. Charu (brother) anna can pacify him. But it was Chandra Haasan who always kept it in check," Rajinikanth said in an emotional speech.

The superstar said that he interacted with Haasan's elder brother only on two occasions but knew that he was a pillar of strength for the "Vishwaroopam" star.

"My friend Kamal Haasan doesn't have the kind of money the actors of this generation have now. It's an unfortunate fact that I need to admit. But he never cared about it, and the reason was Chandra Haasan. I'm concerned about how Kamal is going to take care of his hard-earned money without Chandra Haasan's presence."

Rajinikanth said filmmakers K Balachandar, Ananthu, Chandra Haasan and Charu Haasan were the four lifelines in Haasan's life.

"Three of them have passed away but their spirits will always be with him to bless him. We are all there for you, Kamal," Rajinikanth said.

Paying tribute to his brother at the meet, Haasan said Chandra was an honest Indian who inspired him to be a proud taxpayer.

"He was an honest Indian and lived true to his conscience. It is because of him that I stand here as a proud taxpayer now. He considered me as his son. He used to expertly pass off an 'advice' as 'opinion.' I always felt fortunate to have him as my brother.

"Rajinikanth talked about my pillars in life. My brothers taught me how to behave as a 'brother'. Now, I have many brothers who know the art of money-making and filmmaking. Rajinikanth is also one such brother," Haasan said.
