Kannan garlanded the statue of founder of the AIADMK and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M G Ramachandran amid slogans raised by party cadres in praise of Jayalalithaa.
Talking to reporters, he claimed AIADMK under Jayalalithaa would come back to power again in the coming assembly polls, while stating that there was every need to establish AIADMK rule in Puducherry also.
